Delegates from both Africa and Asia showed strong interest in Belt and Road in a session at the International Bar Association’s annual conference, held this year in Seoul, South Korea.

In early December, Congolese entrepreneur Ely katembo ran a workshop in Seoul for representatives of Korean groups such as Posco, SK group, Lg chem and Daelim motors interested in investing in mining and other sectors in Africa. These conglomerates are large consumers of metals produced on the continent, particularly copper and cobalt.
